Maya Class Projects
The following are projects done in Maya for a game art class at Bradley University. They are in sequential order from first time using the program to the final project in class using the program. Each image was the final image submitted for a grade, meaning not all were staged, as we learned staging, lighting, and capturing a couple weeks after our first time using the program.
This was the first time we used the program.
This was the next project, the first time we learned about still image rendering.
This project was done to teach us about texture maps. The crate was prerendered and given to us by our instructor. The texture was unwrapped and created by me.
This project was done to teach us about bump, normal, and reflection maps. The can was given to us by our instructor. I unwrapped and created the texture. The logo is from a user on redbubble, Rachel Raymer.
This was the first project where we utilized all of our skills to model, texture, and stage a render with a three point lighting system.
This was the last project we did in the program. Similar to the last one, I modeled the entire character, applied simple materials, and staged the render using a three point lighting system.
